Agreement covers 5 MWp in Italy
Green Hunter, an Italian solar photovoltaic (PV) investment firm, has appointed Alectris, a global service provider for the integrated care of solar PV energy assets, as its operations and maintenance (O&M) provider in Italy, the two companies announced today. The agreement covers a current solar PV portfolio of 5 MWp in Apulia, in the Bari province.
“It was a lot of time that we were searching for an evolved and integrated O&M provider that could assist us also with its engineering and performance improvement capabilities for a cluster of PV Plants in our portfolio to upgrade their performances. Maximizing the performance of our plants has always been our main goal.
In addition we were searching for a complete Plant Management and Reporting System to simplify our Asset Management activities. Finally, after several researches, we have found this complete player, but it would be better to call them partner, in Alectris,” said Valeria Scargetta, managing director for Green Hunter.
“Alectris immediately extensively analyzed our plants and proposed us a valuable set of activities to improve our plant performances. Alectris also installed ACTIS, its proprietary evolved Solar ERP System, allowing us easy and immediate reporting,” explained Scargetta.
Green Hunter contracted with Alectris for portfolio analysis and plant performance improvement services beginning in February 2014. The initial transition period included installation of the Alectris award winning solar enterprise resource platform, ACTIS.
