Vassilis Papaeconomou, managing director of Alectris and SolarPower Europe O&M task force leader, will participate in the SolarPower Europe webinar 11 January 2018, “How digital solar asset management can reduce costs and better integrate PV into grid.” The event is free to SolarPower Europe members.

O&M is one of the most digitalised steps of the PV value chain, using software and remote monitoring to reduce costs in this area. Smart grids, better forecasting thanks to satellite technology and maximising the controllability of PV plants are all part of better grid integration. First Solar will present their PlantPredict platform, Alectris their ACTIS software for managing trackers and Huawei will showcase their I-V Curve diagnosis solution, all case studies in the report.
