Alectris is pleased to announce the completion of a revamping project with EF Solare Italia, the largest owner of solar plants in Italy. Alectris expert engineers completed engineering studies that allowed the team to find a tailored solution with the goal to minimize the loss of energy and optimize costs.

THE ITALIAN SOLAR POWER MARKET:
According to a report by SolarPower Europe, in Italy, Solar PV cumulative capacity reached 21.340 MW in 2020 with plans to add another 6.3 GW by the end of 2024, a growth target that will drive the segment’s expansion over the coming years.
With this growth will come an increase in services such as the repowering and revamping of existing photovoltaic plants. The repowering of existing PV plants can be utilized to extend the life of new plants at the end of their initial design life, projected at about 20 to 25 years.
