“The Camilla Story” captures behind the scenes insights from local Camilla, GA  government leadership as they consider this solar installation by Georgia Power and then realize the benefits.

In 2014 Origis Energy announced the completion and dedication of two solar power plants in Georgia, representing the state’s second largest solar installations. The two solar power sites, with a combined capacity of 23.5 megawatts (MW)DC, are located in Camilla and Woodbury, Ga.

“Farming the sun,” as one official describes the Georgia Power solar PV installation at Camilla, GA, represented one of the largest such installs in the state.
